There are a number of different ways that you can navigate around the framework. You can complete areas of the framework at your own pace, and jump between the various areas of the framework as you see fit. You don't need to complete your ratings in a set order.
The primary method of navigating the framework is the 'drill-down' method. To drill-down to an Aspect:
- Visit the Review section of the site;
- Click on either the title of the Element that you wish to drill-down into, or on the progress bar to the right of the title;
- You'll now be shown all of the Strands in your chosen Element. Again, click on either the title of the Strand that you wish to drill-down into, or on the progress bar to the right of the title;
- You'll now see a different view - Aspect view. To navigate between Aspects in your chosen strand, either click on the tabs here to jump between Aspects; or click on the previous and next buttons to move linearly between Aspects.
The second method of navigating the framework is the breadcrumb trail. The breadcrumb trail shows you exactly where you currently are in the framework. Clicking on part of the breadcrumb will allow you to jump to higher levels in the framework.
Finally, if you wish to jump to a specific Aspect in the framework, you can use the drop-down menus at the top of the page:
- Hover your mouse over the 'Review' tab;
- A series of menu options will appear. The light grey menu options represent the 4 Elements of the framework;
- Hover over an Element; a new menu will appear showing all of the Strands in that Element;
- Hover over a Strand; a new menu will appear showing all of the Aspects in that Strand;
- Clicking on a strand will take you directly to the Aspect view for your chosen Aspect.
